In your package, the Instance for the Librarian English file needs to read: 0x 001E0E317887A30A Then all the writing will show up When you start a new game and place the rabbithole building, you need to quit to main menu and reload the save for any custom career to show up.

I'm trying to change it but when I click okay the Resource detail window closes and the instance stays the same.

It might be worth referring to this post on the tutorial and re-doing the English strings. It's a little extra time but should solve your problem

I tried to do that. Right after creating the stbl for the strings I reopened the details window to check but it didn't save the double 0. I tried again just to make sure I didn't do something wrong. It still doesn't add the 0s.
Than I went back to a second career I made while trying to correct this one (I figured what needs to be changed in this to work, I can change in the other.) I checked the strings and there are no 0s there either. I remember that I followed those steps, I tried changing the instance when I made it. I never noticed that it just doesn't save the 0s.

It seems to have changed for me I've uploaded it here for you since I managed to change the numbers with no problem. Fingers crossed this should do it! Attachments:Librarian.package (21.78 KB)

I tried what you uploaded, it's still just the numbers instead of the job title, and there is still no text.
(Also after removing and reinstalling s3pe now I can change the numbers too (at least in the other it let me in this I didn't try.). I have no idea why it didn't let me before.)
Edit: I figured it out. It's another one of those "well, that's embarrassing" things... For some reason I copied the whole key line into the English strings including the <KEY> and </KEY>. I took those out and now they show up right.
Thank you very much for all your help.

sorry to bother you again but I tried making a small two level teen only companion career to this. Of course it doesn't show up... And I get a script error a mile long... (I read the how to make a teen career topic, and I also tried comparing it to one of your apprenticeships) I attached both the career and the script error... what did I mess up this time?

The only issue I can see is in the Tones file. For the GUID, it needs to be LibrarianTeen, not just Librarian. Otherwise, the Tone file tries to link up to your adult Librarian career. I think that might well be the issue in this case And you're never bothering me at all

Aha, think I might have found it. In the .Careers file, you've got:And this needs to be: I think that could be it.
