Hi there!
I haven't created a career yet, but I would like to try my luck on a project, where I recreate the active careers in Sims 3, but make them rabbithole ones. I like the careers itself, but with bugs and big households, I can't manage them all the time. Do you guys know wether I can use EA's career and just change it or if it would be better to start from scratch? Thank you

Hi there, welcome to the forum! I like the idea of that project! It would be better to start from scratch, really. The active careers are coded very differently to rabbithole ones. You could still use the same levels but make it a rabbithole career. That's pretty easy to accomplish!

Thank you! I have started and till now there were no issues. Do you know wether it's possible to also code a hidden trait? Like ie the Immune to Fire one in the firefighter career?

Never done a trait in Sims 3, since I believe that does require script modding. Arsil did make a hidden trait (Japanese Culture) so it is possible, it's just beyond my realm of expertise. However the Modding Discussion section on Mod The Sims might prove helpful!
