I need to do that x.x Weed is winning over here, you can't even see the cats anymore, they seem to like coming to hunt in our garden Or they just have fun jumping around and biting/chewing the tall grass. Oh I had some fun last night testing my Monk Career, I will probably post some pictures on Tumblr. I had a guy join, but I didn't realized he was mean spirited. Right after he got his career he decided to go insult a girl that was in the cemetary. I canceled it but it kept popping up so I let him do. Then I had him slap her (I never played a mean sim before, it's quite fun) and even beat her up... He said she was now his nemesis... then rolled a wish to kiss her I gave it a try, but yeah... doesn't work well So he beat her up again Alright, going back to my Homeless Career.

Nice monk you've got yourself there Today I'm experimenting with having custom presets for the uniforms. I'm actually having some success (which is more than can be said for trying to phone my doctors surgery this morning ).

It's one of the Frio's brothers... not the best choice I admit I test with premade families, it causes some fun though, so not regretting it. Ah yes, I used to be able to, but since I moved neighborhood and got a new surgery, it's like Mission Impossible. Last time I gave up, went downtown to the free clinic (or however it is called), and I had a flue with lung infection. I had to be on antibiotics for 10 days, but no, my own surgery wouldn't see me, even when I went directly Good luck with yours, I hope you're not feeling too bad. I cannot find the tunable file for Swipe, only the file where I can actually enable everyone (or categories) to use it. Kleptomaniacs are limited to 3 swipes a day, Private Investigators too... and yes I can't find where it says so in the file. I can see a check to see which kind of sim is trying to swipe (kleptomaniac, private eye or firefighter), but can't see much more than that. Today I have to try and find out which section of my code gave me 2 script errors. Also I will restrict Shakedown to the Gang branch only, so it is just minor adjustments. If I manage to get all of that working, then it will be time to try and get Deliver A Package to work

Good luck with all that! I'm currently seeing what happens when I remove the .Tones file altogether. I don't want skill-building tones in the Saturday jobs, so I'm just waiting for Saturday to arrive in my test 'hood and see what happens

I tried removing the Tones file completely, and removing it from the XML, but I had an error message in game. However I saw that Cindermouse just left the file, with only the first part, and removed anything below (where you would normally put the custom tones). So I tried that, and no more error messages related to my tones in game.
I wanted to work on my Career, but I feel exhausted, I had to take naps a lot lately, today wont be any different I am afraid. Maybe tonight if I get a change to get on my computer.

Alright, sorry about that I feel a lot better and 'alive' after the nap. I hate having to be at work at 7AM every morning, it kills me.
So basically the Tones file looks like that I am using it for my Homeless Career.

So it's been a while. *Dusts thread off* My current project is continuing with updating my existing careers and adding opportunities and events to them. I'm also contemplating expanding the forum for a bit more gameplay chatter, as well as just career related. Any thoughts on that?

Yes! Do include this section on Gameplay chatter! We have so few forums left where S3 simmers can just gab about the game. I held out for a long, long time and only got into S3 when my S2 game finally blew up (all that pink flashing!), but now I totally love it.
As for planning ... well, I plan everything out in Excel, then spend way too many hours in CAW changing lot placements, street names, deco, you name it, then have to layout all the lots (community first, then homes), then eventually start populating before I ever begin to play. By then, I'm often too sick of said world to play much, LOL.
My current project has been making over Starlight Shores to my taste and am now slowly adding households back in (many of whom have been renamed and made over as well). If I can figure out how to add images here, I'll share pix.

Go to an upload site for pictures (like imgbb.com/) upload there ur pics by clicking on "Start uploading", choose ur image, then upload, under ur picture u see now some links, choose "BBCode full linked" or better "BB thumbnail linked" to post here a small thumbnail to click for larger images. hope that helps u. there r different ways to bring in pictures.

And as you can see from the tabs at the bottom of this image, I have many other items I keep on hand. Each world has its own SimTracker, which is always open when my game is loaded so I can update as I play.
I could show you a whole lot more, but ... I will spare you all the pain.
