I would if I could figure where to post. Under their Careers page? Do they have a section for general help? I often make typos but the script errors are usually far more helpful with pointing out where I messed up.

The Careers section of the forum would be best, since it's a career related issue.

Update! I posted on NRaas and meanwhile rewrote the careers since Chain's advice was to check for missing brackets somewhere. I didn't have any but I noticed that my coworker title and one of the career levels gave the same number during hashing. I changed the coworker title and the careers show up! I didn't know doing that might have problems but apparently it's a possibility!? I still got the funky bootstrap errors but if they're not harmful I can live with them till Chain has more ideas, lol. Thought I'd let you know what the problem was in case someone else ends up having it at some point.

I was just reading your post over at Nraas. Glad to hear it's showing up. Hopefully Chain's got some answers for the bootstrap errors because they're very peculiar

I know, it's weird. There is probably something, somewhere I'm not seeing.

Hi Missy, thank you so much for the tutorial I just managed to make my first career thanks to you!! However, I ran into some trouble. I managed to troubleshoot the script error that came, but now I'm having issues with the numbers that show up in-game. I wrote it down and changed the <STR>Gameplay/Careers/GetJobInRabbitHole:JoinCareerNoCareer</STR> and FNV Hashed it as you described, before adding it to they <KEY> line. Then as I was going to create/replace the STBL document as you describe in the next step, it won't regenerate and prompt me to replace it. I even tried to manually delete it and create a new one (even changing the name) but then it won't replace itself in s3pe. (The old name is still there and no prompt from s3pe to make sure I save it because a new file/changes have been made) Where have I gone wrong? Also, the career is showing up in my game and is somewhat playable even with the numbers only showing but I get a career script error message about once every working day (in game) and every time my sim is due for a promotion he just walks out of the building and cheers because he got promoted (when the green bar in the career tab is full). The promotion prompt is showing correctly, but I have never experienced a sim leaving work early because of a promotion so I am wondering if this is related to my other issue or if it's something else? (He is a workaholic so I had him work from home too. He had a 10h shift and he was very close to a promotion at the beginning of the day, so he was only at work for maybe 2h before walking out) Edit: I wanted to try again creating a new career, seeing if I got a different outcome. However, I wasn't able to finish due to friends visiting. Now sometimes as I loaded the file back into s3pe and opened my files (usually my .Tones or .Careers files) I get the error message that they don't exist in s3pe and if I would like to keep them. If I click yes, they are there but if I make edits, save, and re-open them the edits aren't actually saved. If I click no, the Notepad++ documents closes. It's so wierd, because that issue happened a week ago when I tried to continue, but as I opened the documents now it seemed to work? Sorry if this is a lot of information, I am very new to this and your detailed tutorial have been so, so helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to create it, and helping us along the way! Edit/update 2: Of course I had to give it another go, and code/create a second career I've been wanting to create for a story of mine. I partially managed to solve my former issue about the correct text not appearing in game, but I'm not entierly sure what I did differently Anywyas, I still have the issue of my sim not staying the correct amount of hours when their promotion bar was full. One thing I noticed was that my sim was working at the theatre in Starligh Shores (from Showtime) and since it's a combined stage and rabithole that issue about leaving work early didn't seem to appear. I had another wierd glitch there about sims not showing up for work but I've had that issue before in the town. Sooo, I moved my sim to Bridgeport and the issue of leaving work early when the promotion bar was full kept on happening. For clarification, the other career I was creating was based off the police station rabithole, and I used Sunset Valley to test it out. Now I'm intrigued to see if I will get a different outcome if I choose a combi rabbit hole?
