I am testing everything now and my career seems to be working alright, except I've notice 2 things, I believe are related. 1) I noticed my Work Hard custom tone and a custom Sleep at Work tone aren't listed. 2) I noticed in the work modes 2 empty lines between groups of other tones. I suspected the missing tones to indeed be the empty lines. It turns out it must be true as I got one of them (Work Hard) to appear but not the other (Sleep at Work). Problem is I don't know what to do to fix that other one, the sleepatwork tone, as the keys are matched up and I even tried changing the name and redoing the keys and same result. Any ideas I can try? I can upload it if somebody can help.

Hmm Yes, if you could upload the career, I can take a look and see what the problem could be

Thank you. Last night, I switched a few carpool types I wasn't happy with but everything should still work fine aside from that empty line problem. Here it is:

I've had a good look at your code and I can't see the problem The code all matches like you said. And all the others show up fine? Normally, this problem is a typo in the code - I've had it myself countless times. But the code matches perfectly and I can see the problem. A couple of questions: - Could you get a screenshot of the problem for me and upload it?
- Does the game generate a script error when you load it?
- If you hover over the missing tone, does the description show up?
Thanks!

Thanks! 1. I don't know how to take a screenshot with the user interface, mine always appear without it. If you tell me how I'd be happy too. 2. Nope, no error script. It wasn't when the work hard tone didn't show up either but looking at the code I discovered in the unhashed file it was missing an '/' and corrected it and the keys and then it showed up where my first empty line was, thats why I thought this would be a similar prob but can't find any prob I know of. 3. No description shows up either, but again, it didn't for the work hard tone until I got it working either.

Try using Print Screen to take the picture, then pasting it into something like Gimp, paint.net, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop etc and saving it. Then you can upload it here. I can't work out what the problem is with this one The code looks fine and there's nothing else you need to add for those tones

Ah, I see. Is that Ctrl+Alt+Prnt Scrn or Prnt Scrn? I'll give it a shot when I get some free time and let you know how it goes.

Yes, that's it. Should just be Prt Sc or Prnt Scrn Still can't work out what the problem is. Have you tried taking out the SleepAtWork tone, testing the game, then putting it back in? See if that works?

I attempted a screenshot but for some reason it was black From reading a similar problem one guy thought SleepAtWork wouldn't work with daytime jobs. And for the blanks, one case involved the <extratones> already being referenced in the careers tones. Could this be it? Attachments:

It does work with daytime jobs - I'm using it with my Estate Agent career with no problems. I must admit - I never use the <extratones> line, so maybe that could be it?

I removed the all the <extratone> lines and the empty lines are gone, but still no SleepatWork! Im stumped on that one! Is there a limit of how many work modes there are, maybe?

Not to the best of my knowledge But then I haven't tried having that many. Maybe try removing one of the skill tones temporarily and see if that fixes it? It might be an idea to try creating a brand new package with your career. I've done this once before when my Accountant Career constantly threw up errors and I couldn't pinpoint it. After that, it worked perfectly fine. What I mean is, it might be the package itself with the problem. I'm not saying that will solve it, but it could be worth trying if nothing else works.

Neither one worked :/ So, it looks like I'll have to live without the Sleep At work option.
