Why, hello there. Just found this forum today and thought I could share my idea over here.
This is my idea so far - I haven't begun to think of descriptions for each career level yet as I don't really want to write a lot of text when it's not sure whether my idea is ever gonna be turned into reality.

Hi Crow! That sounds like a lovely idea! IF I get some time (and motivation), I don't mind having a go with this. If anyone else wants to have a go, by all means though!

Why, hello MissyHissy.
I actually became inactive, nice. Well, that's life. However, now I'm back for some Sims 3, and as a matter of fact, I began modding this career on my own.
Today I finished the Career.XML file though I'm not sure if I didn't make any mistakes or typos. Is there a way you or someone else may check over the file, just to be safe?
Edited:
So, I actually finsihed the mod today. However, I'm having problems to make it work. The script errors says there's something wrong with the .dll-file. It looks like this:
[E]VoiceActor.Careers Parse fail [E]53950058779499.dll: Unknown Careers File VoiceActor.Careers
And there's also this:
[E]Tone: VoiceActorTone.VoiceActorCareerExperimentWithYourVoice CareerGuid no match
May I ask you for help? I'm afraid I'm rather clueless at this point.

Look who else became inactive for a bit! I'm so sorry for the intense delay. You can upload your file as an attachment if you want to so I can take a look for you. I'm not familiar with that particular DLL error but if you want to upload the career, I'll gladly have a look. The Tone one should be straightforward; double check that the Tone references your AltGuid. It's sounding like it probably doesn't.

Heh, sometimes life's like that.^^
I appreciate your offer! In that case I'll upload my file - perhaps you know where the ploblem is when you have a look at it. You know what they say - four eyes see more than two!
Also, please don't wonder about those blank opportunity/book files - before I deal with those I actually want to know whether my mod can work at all.
