The purpose of this thread is to keep track of career modding fails for future reference, so we career modders stop beating ourselves up when things don't turn out like we expected! The data is mostly inspired from MissyHissy Q&A with forum members on Discord. No, there is currently no way to ensure you get the next "in line" custom career opportunity, *immediately after* completing the previous one? Q.: After reaching the top level of a custom career (like a School or a Part Time Job or a 'Degree' Career) can Sims receive a boost in multiple full time and active careers, like it works after completing a University EP degree? A: No, it is not possible, the Nraas Career mod, which is required to load custom careers in game, only gives boost to one career, period. The code that MissyHissy tried unsuccessfully: 1. Adding 2 custom career names with a comma and a spacing<transfercareer>Accounting, Banking</transfercareer>
2. Adding 2 custom career names with a comma and no spacing<transfercareer>Accounting,Banking</transfercareer>
3. Repeating the line <transfercareer> twice
<transfercareer>Accounting</transfercareer> <b><transfercareer>Banking</transfercareer></b>
4. Repeating the line <transfercareer> and adding the number "2" at the end of the second occurence (<transfercareer2></transfercareer2>)
<transfercareer>Accounting</transfercareer> <transfercareer2>Banking</transfercareer2>

Q. Can you use Wildflowers in custom career opportunities? A. No, it is not possible. MissyHissy said "it looks like the Wildflowers aren't noticed in the <TargetInteractionItemRequired> field."

Q.: "Is there a way to ensure you get the next in line custom career opportunity, *immediately after* completing the previous one? Or to link opportunities together, so you won't get one unless you completed the previous one?" (asked by simshai91 ) A.: MissyHissy replied: "I have yet to get that to work myself. I don't think it works as well for career opportunities. Q.: "I wonder what EA does to get it to work like that in the Private investigator profession, so you get the string of opportunities related to that case one behind the other."(asked by simshai91 ) A.: MissyHissy replied: "I think it's because they're active careers, rather than rabbithole ones. They work quite differently."
