Hello, just wondering if you've found anything?

Hey, goodmorning all. @sunsetvall3y , in your Tone files you have DinerWorkerTone.DinerWorkerCareerTalkInMirror but everywhere else you use DinerEmployee. Change your Tone file to DinerEmployeeTone.DinerEmployeeCareerTalkInMirror and update both your string files and you should be ok. That's the only thing I can see.

I've done that and it now shows up on the start menu but not when I click on a diner.

I've done that and it now shows up on the start menu but not when I click on a diner. Any script errors? And have you remembered to ensure the Language file has the 00 as the first two numbers? That might be why it's not showing up in game. Does the Diner have any blank options?

I'm a little confused about which numbers to change, I'll attach a screenshot of the language strings thing to my original post.

@sunsetvall3y could you take a new screenshot of s3pe but this time with s3pe in full screen? [EDIT: not needed anymore] You should have an STBL file called "DinerEmployee English" (or close) and under the "instance" column of that STBL file, the line should start with "0x00" which indicates to the game that the career should show up properly on computers running an english-speaking version of The Sims 3. EDIT: I think I found one of the files that's causing your issues. See my screenshot. EDIT 2: The problem is, as MissyHissy mentioned, your "DinerEmployee English" file's instance is not starting with "0x00" as it should. It's starting with "0xDFA". I suggest you read through the screenshot of the Career Creation Mega Tutorial I attached, which shows the steps to follow to fix the problem your career is having. It is part of this thread titled "The Primary Language String": missyhissysjobcentre.proboards.com/post/994/thread

I've changed the numbers and it's still not showing up. I'll attach the new package file and a screenshot of what happens when I click on the diner to my original post.

@sunsetvall3y I tried your career in my game and it wasn't loading for me either. I can only recommend to start over the tutorial and see if you might have overlooked some steps somewhere...? I know it can be disheartening to be both *this close* and *this far* and as career modders we've all been there. As MissyHissy says in her tutorial, starting over is worth it to become a better modder and spot more quickly the code mistakes we make.

Are there any script errors? If not then sometimes the file becomes corrupted while working on it. Try not to be disheartened; this happened twice to my Accountant Career when I was creating it!
