Hey there,
I don't believe there has ever been custom AS activities mods for elementary school. Am I correct?
I wonder if there is a tutorial on how to create them, both for elementary and high schools.
No specific plans in mind, but it might come in handy when I get bored of the ballet and scouting options and want to spice up my game!

You've come to the right place. I've actually got quite a few: The first ones I did were with the 'Fun With Seasons' pack I made after Seasons came out. There are six activities: Football, Basketball, Snowboarding, Ice Skating, Roller Skating and Swimming. They're all for children and teens. Then I made a pack of six activities which include School Council, Cheerleading, Gamers Club, Dance Club, Computer Club and Life Skills. All except Gamers and Life Skills are available for children and teens - these two are for teens only. Finally, last year I made a pack of 10 activities: Ceramics, Woodwork, Photography, Driving Lessons, Young Thespians Drama Club, Metalwork, SimFu, Creative Writing, Watersports and Astronomy. Some of them are child only, some are teen only and others are for both. I've also got plans for at least two more sets. There is also a tutorial I wrote HERE for creating activities yourself

Thanks MissyHissy!
Somehow I had confused some of your AS with Apprenticeships so this is a great clarification post. I'm bookmarking this page!
In your game, does SP ever grant automatically the custom AS to teens and children? Or does it have to be done manually?
What held me back from using custom AS at all (I believe I have a few from you installed in my game) is that I have a townie-centric gameplay and I can't figure out how to assign custom AS to townie kids and children *without* having to first make them an active family.
Do you know of any command workaround that could help to achieve this?

Any time! I haven't been using any form of Story Progression lately (I'm a rotational player at heart ) but if my memory serves, the Nraas SP does assign them. I'd check on Nraas if you want to be 100% certain; igazor's bound to know if nobody else does. As far as manually assigning them, that's one drawback. Right now, Master Controller doesn't display any custom ones, not even Twallan's from the School module of the Careers mod. However, Chain is aware and has made a note. So there will probably be an update for that in the future some time
