For a long time, I've wanted to work in a quiet, English seaside town, filled with the sound of crashing waves and seagulls. Having never found what I was looking for, I've set about the task of creating it myself. Ralton is on a medium map, since I don't need a huge world to work in. The harbour is now mostly finished, save for a few small details. Here's an overview of what I've accomplished in Ralton so far. The Lighthouse: The train: And a little bit of Westward: More to come!

OMG! I love, love, LOVE your Ralston-on-Sea! The size, the flat lots, but most of all the real feel of an English coastal village! The harbour and lighthouse are so well done. Ooh, I want to see more!

I agree with what you said spuffy, it looks awesome and I would love to see more. Also Missy are you looking for people to decorate any building for you or are you also doing that part? It would be something like giving the building as a base and then saying how u would like it to be designed? Just a thought

Oh my word, that is beautiful! I only know English villages/small towns from TV shows and this definitely could be a set! I'll be definitely interested when you get to the point of play testing!

Gosh, those are some of the best responses I've had. Thanks you guys spuffy I must admit I haven't worked on this for a while. Lost some inspiration but I'm sure it'll come back soon! UnWrittenSims I'd never thought about that to be honest. I'd largely intended to do it myself, since the lots will be just shells so I don't end up using too much Store content or CC. The main decorating will be once I've finished the world and exported. However, since I'll be sharing the world, there's no reason why people couldn't decorate and share the lots themselves. I'd happily provide links and stuff. Cool T1gerCat Thank you! I'm basing it on several Cornish villages and towns, close to where I live. I'll certainly upload this when I'm ready for playtesting! You guys are the best

Same here! (can't say we're a subtle bunch, can you?)
I only have one question, are you going to add a diving area? I usually create one in the worlds I play with the world editor (from scratch, premade diving lots never work for me) and yet I always have at least one error popping up. I wonder if doing so in CAW would eliminate that.

About as subtle as a chinook helicopter, yeah As it happens, yes I am adding some diving spots. I've got about three planned and one already done. See, there's going to be shipwrecks along this coast so I wanted to have some good diving opportunities in the town for the historians. This dive lot is the only one I've decorated so far but it's in the bay that was out of range of the old fort in Ralton's heyday so there's minimal shipwrecks but lots of treasure: What kind of errors do you normally get, T1gerCat ?

Oh wow that is amazing! I know you were making/adding them already but I definitely thank you for the diving lots!

So, so awesome, Missy! Love how you already created the backstory for this spot. You have my absolute admiration -- I tried once to add a diving lot, but it was way beyond my skills.
