This thread contains all the opportunities in my Comic Artist Career. The career can be downloaded Here. If you don't want to know any details about the opportunities, don't continue reading this thread.
Drawing Comics
You've come a long way in your career but, compared to all the comic artists you've ever admired, you still feel your art is lacking imagination. Your boss has given you a copy of "Comic Drawing For Artists" to read to help you out.
Level: 1-10
Requirements: Read Book
One Comic At A Time
You've had some ideas racing around your head for a comic book series but you've never had the confidence to put them into practice. A recent meeting with the team revealed a gap in the current market and the boss has asked everyone to submit their comics for a chance to fill that gap. This could be your chance if you get your ideas onto paper!
Level: 2-4
Requirements: Write a Comic Book
Artists Convention
The local theatre is holding a convention for artists of all manner and you have been asked to attend to man the Comic Artist booth for a couple of hours. Doing so not only means being paid overtime but you may also gain a little extra skill and inspiration in the process.
Level: 2-5
Timeout: 7 Days
Requirements: Visit Convention
Comic Competition
There's a Comic Competition coming up in {TownName} and naturally, you've been invited to participate. All you need to do is bring a comic you've created into work for a chance to win a cash prize and some celebrity points!
Level: 2-7
Timeout: 5 Days
Requirements: Write a Comic Book
The Creative Well Runs Dry
You've hit some roadblocks with your inspiration lately and nothing seems to be reviving it. The words are coming but the images aren't providing adequate illustration. Perhaps getting out of the office, and out of the house, to sketch some doodles in the fresh air might help?
Level: 2-10
Requirements: Gain a level in Painting
Keep Your Enemies Closer...
While your latest line of comic books is still selling well, there's a rival out there who could be stealing your thunder. The editor of your regular strip has suggested you go out and quietly purchase one of the rival comics and see what you're up against
Level: 3-10
Requirements: Buy a Comic Book
Successful Series
After the success of your last comic series, you've been approached by a children's magazine, Tiny Tigers, to provide a series of comics for their back pages. This is an exciting opportunity and you'll be paid very well for your participation. If you can get your comics ready by next week, that is!
Level: 5-10
Timeout: 7 Days
Requirements: Write 3 Comic Books
Sign Of The Times
Your latest comic book proved to be an enormous hit with the children! The bookshop is interested in having you there at the weekend to host a book signing. There's a cash incentive and who wouldn't like to meet their fans?
Level: 6-10
Timeout: 7 Days
Requirements: Attend Book Signing
Practice Makes Perfect
The writing for the latest comic series has really taken off but it’s the drawings themselves that are being problematic. {1.SimName} is feeling frustrated and should head out to practice some sketching. Maybe even asking a friend to pose so a still life sketch could be produced?
Level: 8-10
Requirements: Practice sketching, then sketch a still life
