This thread contains all the opportunities in my Archaeology Career. The career can be downloaded Here. If you don't want to know any details about the opportunities, don't continue reading this thread.
Recording Your Findings
As a volunteer, you've been helping a lot recently with sorting through some new artefacts and, with the help of a team of analysts and carbon daters, you've seen some amazing objects and learnt so much about the ancient world. Your supervisor is pleased with your enthusiasm and has given you a book to help you understand how to better record the information for future use.
Level: 1
Requirement: Read Book, 'Recording Your Findings', by Admiral Landgraab
Archaeology Report
As you come towards the end of your Archaeology course, you need to provide a report on a recent discovery of an ancient burial ground or settlement. Your professor doesn't mind which country, he just wants a report. If your report is detailed enough, it may well be submitted for publication!
Level: 2
Requirement: Write Non-Fiction Book
Gem Analysis
The Head of Antiquities is looking to increase the numbers of precious gemstones on display at the local museum. The Egyptology department is lacking some raw Lapis Lazuli gems and you've been asked to go to Egypt to collect three pieces of this precious gem to add to the collection. You will be well rewarded for the effort.
Level: 2 & 3
Requirements: Bring 3 Lapis Lazuli gems from Egypt
Mining In The Community
Before you can go abroad on any archaeology digs, your boss has recommended you get some practice in at home. You've asked around the office and someone's recommended you purchase a miner at the consignment store and mine in your local town.
Level: 3-4
Requirements: Dig In Town
Egyptian Enigma
Near the base camp just outside Al Simhara, there's a small tomb locals have cordoned off. Some say there are ghosts, others say there's a mummy deep inside the tomb. But nobody's explored it before so the Society is sending you out to Al Simhara to take a look and bring back an artefact from the Tomb.
Level: 4-7
Requirement: Visit the Tomb of Discovery and collect 2 relics
Digsite Diva
The Archaeological Society has heard about the remains of a settlement in Al Simhara that has only recently been discovered. Not much is known yet, so the society wants to send {1.SimFirstName} out to be the first to excavate in the new territory.
Level: 4-7
Requirements: Excavate a digsite in Al Simhara
The Older, The Better
The team recently returned from a dig in Champs Les Sims and they've talked about a lot of relics circulating in the market. One of the excavators thinks there are some really old relics being sold dirt cheap and with the locals not knowing how valuable they are. The Head of Antiquities wants you to go out to Champs Les Sims and obtain some of these relics and bring them back to work for analysis.
Level: 5
Requirements: Go to France and bring back 3 relics
Further Reconstruction
For the past few weeks, you've been up to your eyeballs in one particular facial reconstruction. The team have had countless images to work with and the mummy has been extraordinarily well preserved but you're still having difficulties finishing it. The team need it finished tomorrow because there's a documentary being filmed next week and your reconstruction has to be complete. Continue the reconstruction on the computer at home before you come in for your next shift.
Level: 8
Requirement: Continue Reconstruction on the computer
Timeout: Next Work Shift
Digsite Seminar
The local secondary school is having an open week for the older students to explore different career options. The head teacher has approached the Archaeological Society and asked if one of the professors would be able to teach a seminar during the week to educate the students on the world of ancient history.
Level: 9
Requirement: Teach Seminar at the School
Timeout: 5 Days
